Foods Help to Increase Platelets Count






















A normal platelet count ranges from 150,000 to 450,000 platelets. Having less platelet that is below the range of 150,000 is called “Thrombocytopenia”.

There are certain foods that help to increase platelet count.

01 - Milk – Fresh milk containing Vitamin K helps in proper blood clotting.

02 - Pomegranate – The red color fruit to maintain a normal blood platelet count.

03 - Oranges – Contains Vitamin B9 that increase blood platelet count.

04 - Papaya- This is mainly recommended for people suffering from “Dengue Fever” as to normalize their platelet count.

05 - Carrots – Contain Vitamin A that combines red blood cells and platelets. Carrot helps immensely to increase platelet count.

06 - Beans – It contains Vitamin B9 that increases blood platelet count.
