Regular oral hygiene routine keeps your teeth healthy and strong. Proper dental care prevents tooth decay, gum diseases and tooth loss. By following below practices you can definitely have a healthy beautiful smile.

01 - The first step of the oral hygiene routine is to brush your teeth properly. You must brush your teeth at least twice a day. Brushing your teeth at night is important as to get rid of germs and plaque that accumulate during the day. Brushing your teeth is not only protecting your teeth, it also strengthens your teeth and gives mineral support which is essential.  

02 - It is important to use a mouthwash for good oral health. It protects teeth and cleans areas that cannot be reached by brushing. It helps to prevent odor and keeps your mouth fresh and healthy.

03 - Reduce consumption of alcoholic drinks and stop using tobacco products. You should also take steps to reduce sweetened beverages as sugar which converts to acid in the mouth then gradually destroys the enamel. Hence drink plenty of water after consuming sugary drinks to wash away the sugar or use a straw to drink it to avoid contacting with teeth.  

04 - It is vital to pay a visit to your Dentist at least twice a year for checkups. There you can get your teeth cleaned and especially you can get to know about any tooth issues that occur. This is really important as early detection of oral health problems helps to prevent major issues that would cause you immense pain.
