Healthy Meals for Children
Nutrition is the foundation of a child’s
development. Having a healthy meal keeps your child healthy and prevents from
lifelong diseases, such as heart diseases, obesity, diabetes etc. It is vital
to have good food to improve child’s brain development and growth.
After
three months meals
01 - Add some salt to half boiled egg yolk and feed one
teaspoon at a time. This meal can be given three days per week.
This is nutritious as egg yolk contains choline and
cholesterol that helps for brain development of the infants. It is also rich
with iron and calcium that are vital for the development of the baby.
02 - Potato is rich with carbohydrate that provides
energy to the baby. It also contains nutrients such as Vitamin C, B6 and
potassium.
Boil a small potato, peel it and mash. Then add
butter and sugar as per your flavor and mix well. Baby can have this meal three
days per week.
After
one year meals
01 - Avocado contains many nutrients such as fiber,
Vitamin C, magnesium, folate and Vitamin K that are needed for the growth of
the baby. Here is an easy recipe that can be arranged.
Scrape half avocado, add one yogurt and half
teaspoon of sugar to it. Then mix altogether. This is ideal to be given once a
week.
02 - Vegetable and chicken soup is high in minerals,
calcium, proteins and carbohydrate. Consumption of this soup is a great way to
prevent your baby from cold and cough.
Ingredients
Carrot 100g
Beans 100g
Leaks 100g
Chicken 100g
Red onions 04
Pinch of salt
Steps
01 - Finely chop carrot, leaks, beans, red onions and
chicken.
02 - Then add all chopped ingredients in to a pan and add
pinch of salt and one cup of water.
03 - Boil them for half an hour in light flame and blend
the boiled mixture before feed.
This nutritious soup can be given once a week.
